Struck a cord with me as I had just been talking about good horsemanship is good horsemanship with both Dan and Bethanna. Bethanna is not a Parelli student and has the good horsemanship in terms of principles, building confidence and being particular, timing, intelligence to consider in depth etc. I was struck by this anew watching the colt start and realizing the methods were different but the principles the same when I watched Bethanna direct Haylie's beginning rides.

Also Karen's article struck me--that any divide between sport and natural is un-natural--both can be beautiful or negative and to be on the watch for prejudices about either.
