Watched the opening ceremonies to Road to the Horse last night.
Enjoyed watching Pat with the 3 young horses and felt that set the tone as someone who will put the relationship first. I am less excited about the idea of natural horsemanship as about training a cutting/reining performance horse. If I can get bored watching, what about the horses? If I had not attended cutting and reining futurities, I may have been more excited about those demos.
Also enjoyed Stacy Westfall's performance. She was not competing--put on a great show: musicality, costuming, brideless freestyle reining routine.
